Hi Badri, glad to be part of your new medical e-group.
So far my perusal of the web site has all been positive.
Just as an introduction I am posting something of interest to us seniors, especially the ones with residual hair (sorry).

“Hair analysis can reveal if seniors have elevated stress hormone levels that may put them at increased risk for heart disease and stroke,” according to research published in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism. The investigators “found that seniors with higher long-term levels of cortisol were more likely to have heart disease.” In an Endocrine Society news release, study co-lead author Dr. Laura Manenschijn said, “Because scalp hair can capture information about how cortisol levels have changed over time, hair analysis gives us a better tool for evaluating that risk.”
