MRFDF Case Presentation – Subependymal Giant Cell Astrocytoma

Akshaya Ayyappan 4th year medical student at Madras Medical College will be presenting a case titled “WHEN PAPILLEDEMA TELLS A GENETIC STORY” 

She will be presenting a case of a seven year old child who came to the hospital with Headache, a seemingly routine complaint, often linked to refractive error. It turned out to be something more serious requiring surgical intervention.
